INFINITE VISION
The Sweetwater Union High School District’s (SUHSD) current Student Information System (SIS), PowerSchool SMS has reached it’s end of life and SUHSD has endeavored to replace it. After a thorough and exhaustive search, the SUHSD stakeholder representatives have selected Infinite Campus as their educational enterprise solution. The Infinite Campus implementation will thrust us into the future of a truly integrated system. Our vision of the future includes:
- Reduction of software or system silos.
- Enhance stakeholder’s dependable and consistent access to real-time data rather than overnight data transfers.
- Introduce modern data governance practices and improve current ones.
- Develop an educational enterprise architecture of highly digitized and integrated business processes for all stakeholders.
INFINITE TRAINING
Education is our business and an integral part of our lives! We are always striving to learn whether we know it or not. I guess you can say we are infinitely learning. Thus, our training will also have to be infinite. Our district employs over 4000 people and they will be exposed to and/or directly interact with SUHSD Infinite Campus.
Training adventures will commence in April of the 2015 – 2016 school year. SUHSD will utilize a blended approach to training:
- There will be access to self-paced online training content.
- Look for scheduled instructor led training sessions.
- Attend open workshops.

What’s a SME? It’s not an alien or Martian…that we know anyway. Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) are individuals that have an in-depth understand about their job.
